Competition Terms and Conditions (General)

1. Organizer: This contest is organized by Fest Ung Hohensalzburg / Salzburger Burgen und Schlösser, Mönchsberg 34, 5020 Salzburg (hereinafter “Organizer”).
2. Connection to Instagram: This contest is not affiliated with Instagram/Meta and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Instagram. The recipient of the information provided is not Instagram, but the Organizer.
3. Participation: To participate, like the post and follow @festung_hohensalzburg and the respective contest partners.
4. Multiple Entries: Only one entry per person is valid. Multiple comments do not entitle the participant to multiple entries and will not be counted multiple times in the drawing.
5. Eligibility: Natural persons aged 18 and older are eligible to participate. Employees of Fortress Hohensalzburg / Salzburg Castles and Palaces and their properties (Fort Kniepass, Castle Mauterndorf, and Fortress Hohenwerfen) are excluded.
6. Prohibition of Manipulation
   Persons who use fake accounts, employ automated methods (bots), or manipulate the contest in any other way are excluded from participation. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify such entries without providing a reason.
7. Duration: The contest begins when it is posted and ends after a maximum of 7 days.
8. Prize: The prize to be drawn is as described in the caption of the respective contest
9. Drawing: Winners will be selected at random and notified within 2 days via DM and Story.
10. Data Protection: The personal data collected in connection with participation (Instagram username, name if applicable) will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting and administering the giveaway. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. The data will be deleted after the contest has ended and prizes have been fully awarded, but no later than 3 months. Participants have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of their data. Please direct any inquiries to: [email protected]. 11. The organizer reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of participation or the nature of the drawing at any time. Any such change will be announced immediately. Furthermore, the organizer reserves the right to terminate or suspend the contest or drawing at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular if circumstances arise that would disrupt or prevent the contest or drawing from proceeding as scheduled.
12. All travel and transportation costs are to be borne by the winner and cannot be claimed from the organizer.
13. If the winner(s) do not respond to us within one week, the claim to the prize shall lapse without replacement. A replacement winner will then be determined using the same procedure, who must also respond within one week. There is no obligation to accept the prize.
14. The prize drawing will take place after the end of the contest period, behind closed doors and ensuring the principle of random selection.
15. Governing Law: Austrian law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Salzburg.
