Revision of the funicular
Revision of the funicular November 3-7, 2025 and January 12-30, 2026. Fortress Hohensalzburg accessible via the footpath during this time. No online tickets available during these periods.

Dear dog owners!
Please note: Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas of Fortress Hohensalzburg, provided they are kept on a lead and accompanied at all times. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the interior areas and museums of the fortress - with the exception of assistance dogs, of course. Wearing a muzzle is compulsory in the fortress train .
