January - April: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

May - September: 8:30 - 20:00
(Museums, Fürstenzimmer, Magic Theater 9:00 - 19:00)

October - December: 9:30 - 17:00

Easter & Advent weekends: 9:30 - 18:00

December 24: inside the fortress, until 14:00

Dear dog owners!

Please note: Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas of Fortress Hohensalzburg, provided they are kept on a lead and accompanied at all times. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the interior areas and museums of the fortress - with the exception of assistance dogs, of course. Wearing a muzzle is compulsory in the fortress train .
