Lantern procession to Hohensalzburg Fortress

There has always been a very special atmosphere at Hohensalzburg Fortress at night. We invite children with their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, neighbors and acquaintances to join us on a little lantern procession up to the castle. Bring your own lanterns with electric lights and we'll walk up together. On the way, we will sing songs and listen to stories. At the end there will be children's punch in the castle courtyard to warm and strengthen you.

Please only use lanterns with electric lights (no open fires!!!)

Please note that the footpath up to the fortress (approx. 100 meters in altitude) can be steep and slippery in places. Please wear suitable footwear and warm clothing!
